Bags are packed, Kaitlyns excited, boarding passes all printed, Westjet check-in done, get us out of Winnipeg.
Challenge of the trip is budget related. Got a ridiculous deal on the stateroom, and the flights, now to talk to momma about spending. We have 40$ USD from the last trip, nice surprise to find in the passport wallet, and now I’m off to the bank to retrieve 300$ Canadian for our entire trip. The cruise ship will exchange currencies. Since all the food is included, and because we brought the kids our bar tab won’t be much, frugal is the name of the game. Transport is all pre booked, as are the shore excursions, so Janet said “Challenge accepted”.
Flying to Toronto today to spend the night (by choice) then off to Fort Lauderdale First thing to embark on the Carnival Conquest. Carry on luggage all packed, lots of entertainment for the kids, off to Toronto.
